Big shifts on the PTR
A new build has gone live on the PTR, build 30430 brings us into what can be considered the most important testing of what 8.2 has to offer.
- Characters on the PTR have been deleted
- Nazjatar has been reset to be tested from the initial phase
- Several changes and tuning to Essences and new Essence introduced
- More items have been given interesting procs and abilities
- 3 more bosses set for testing on Friday, May 17th:

- 13:00 PDT (16:00 EDT, 22:00 CEST)
- Za’qul – Heroic Eternal Palace

Recruit A Friend
The RAF program beloved by multiboxers around the world is being put on ice.
- Current program ends as of June 11, 2019
- Revamped Program will return at a later point
- Recruited friends must not already have a World of Warcraft account, or their account must be fewer than 30 days old.
- Link period lasts for 90 days after your friend’s account was first created.

Reselling tickets through AXS
Now that Blizzcon tickets are sold out, AXS is allowing people to resell tickets through their service. This service has the benefits of being secure, anonymous and authentic; but allows resellers to mark up their ticket and charges additional fees to the reseller and purchaser.
- 5.25% convenience fee on original ticket ticket price
- 22.5% resale fee added to whatever price is listed for resale
- 7.5% selling fee taken from listed price
- So in order to simply break even on the originally listed price of $229 ($241.02 paid), a reseller would need to list their ticket for $260.56 (to cover the 7.5% seller fee), which would actually cost the buyer $319.19 (with the 22.5% reselling fee), equating to a combined 39.38% markup on the originally listed ticket price.

WoW Classic Beta is live
Earlier this week the release date for WoW Classic was announced for Aug 27th and the PTR was announced to be starting today March 16th.
- Testers accounts are flagged from among those that opt in on their account settings
- Beta is from level 1 – 30
- Blizzard revealed that Layering tech will be used for the initial term of the game.
- Decisions about TBC servers and Wrath servers will be based on the performance of Classic

15th Anniversary Celebration
Some details regarding the 15th anniversary celebrations have come to light this week. As a big anniversary, there are some noteworthy additions this year.
