Dungeons & Diapers Archives
Ho-ho-ho! The holidays are almost here but Crofton is feeling a bit grinchy towards his arch podcast rivals. Ryan tries to cheer him up with talk of the Super Mario RPG Remake and the warm fuzzies it gives him. Crofton talks Spider-Man 2 and Netflix’s Blue Eye Samurai, before Ryan explains to his children how to commit DUNGEON MURDER! Finally, the boys talk about how family holiday shopping works for them and how this can be a stressful time of year. Come listen!
Strap in because Crofton has a lot to get off his chest in this episode, including thoughts on the new Madame Web trailer and the Sony Spider-Verse in general. Ryan tries to convert him back to the MCU with impressions of Loki Season 2 but he might be lost to Apple TV with all its great comedies. The one thing Ryan and Crofton can agree on is how hard it is to make new friends as adults. All of this, and Crofton picks a beef with another podcast! Come listen!
Ryan is away so Crofton’s daughter Gwen joins him for a special edition of Dungeons and Diapers. They give first impressions of Super Mario Bros. Wonder along with what it is like playing it as a family of four. Crofton catches Gwen up on Apple TV’s Shrinking and other content that she is way too young to hear about. Gwen then takes the mic and doesn’t stop as she goes through the wonder of Girl Guides and why she likes it so much. Crofton doesn’t know where she gets her mic energy. All of this and an important Playstation 5 Watch 2023!
Ryan and Crofton are full of things to talk about in this extra stuffed edition of Dungeons and Diapers. First, they are back into Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty before turning on their TV and watching The Walking Dead – Darryl Dixon and The Afterparty Season 2. Then the boys get sleeping and prepare for bedtime. How to get kids to bed? Let’s talk about it! All that, the Crofton Side of CORE returns, and apparently Ryan has a zombie podcast?
This week, the boys get into the Halloween spirit as Ryan cuts right to the chase and tells Crofton a spooky story that ties up nicely in the end. Crofton has a lot of balls in the air with his first impression of Cyberpunk 2077’s expansion “Phantom Liberty” and its anime “Edgerunners”. Finally, neither Ryan nor Crofton get snippy when discussing this week’s topic: Halloween! All of this and Ryan has a surprise too!
Ryan is joined by a very real and present Crofton to discuss the upcoming Extra Life event for AvenDaDs on Friday, October 13th starting at 8 PM ET. Catch all the action at tiny.cc/watchavendads and donate if you can at tiny.cc/donateavendads. Hope to see you there!
Do you like handling poop? Cat Person Crofton and Dog Guy Ryan talk about when the best time is to get a family pet and all the pluses and minus attached. But first, Ryan gives Crofton his first impressions of Starfield and how it may have strayed too far afield from what Bethesda normally does. All that and Sea of Stars too!
It is a new school year and Crofton and Ryan are mentally preparing to talk to teachers, other parents, bus drivers and all the other adults that make school either awesome or painful. But before they do that, Spider-Mania has swept the Steers household and Ryan finally doesn’t like an MCU thing. All this and Crofton gets kittens!
What goes in to planning a summer vacation? How much money is budgeted and what types of choices are made? Road trip or cottage? Staycation? The boys discuss the logistics of their summer vacations on this episode while leaving a huge chunk to discuss their mutual obsession- Baldur’s Gate 3. What are they loving about the game and is it the same in multiplayer as it is solo?
