D&D 26 – Good Autumn, Bad Fall

D&D 26 – Good Autumn, Bad Fall

The boys are back to comment on the changing of the leaves and the cooking of the turkeys. It is Canadian Thanksgiving eh? This year we are thankful for the wonderful folks who support Ryan’s Extra Life charity drive as well as the miracle of a AAA VR game in Asgard’s Wrath. Crofton dives deep into virtual Norse-ality while Ryan eats leeches with his friends in Sea of Thieves. Come for the game talk but stay for the rude relatives. All of that and speech articulation too! Teaching a kid to talk has never been more fun. Come listen!

D&D 25 – Spidey Gets an Extra Life

D&D 25 – Spidey Gets an Extra Life

A week removed from lamenting the Spider-Man’s exit from the MCU, Ryan and Crofton rejoice at his return! Let us be merry and share that merriness with others through the joy of charitable giving! You know what that means? It’s Extra Life season for Ryan again! Crofton and Gwen embark on a journey to wake up the Wind Fish in Link’s Awakening. All of this, the Office, Parks and Rec, and Kayden ain’t no fool – he’s going to (pre) school! Come listen!

D&D 24 – Whatever a Spider Can

D&D 24 – Whatever a Spider Can

It is a dark day in the Spiderverse as Ryan and Crofton commiserate over the Sony/Disney split that takes their favourite wallcrawler out of the MCU (NOTE: There are a few spoilers for Far From Home, including the post-credits cameo). Crofton then goes fully Spider-mad and falls into a replay of Spider-Man on PS4 and a rewatch of Spider-Man Homecoming… to say nothing of the imaginary Spider-Man playing his daughter is requested. It is Spider-Mania! Meanwhile, Ryan experiences Paw Patrol Mania and hits the theatres to see the pups on the big screen! All this and Kayden starts to ask the important questions about his body! Come listen!

D&D 23 – Anime Vacations

D&D 23 – Anime Vacations

The boys return from their respective family holidays to commiserate on how dang hard it is to do family holidays! They compare vacation notes, from cottages to shacks, from Sandbanks to the glorious wonders of Lake Simco beaches. Ryan and Crofton then get down to brass tacks and discuss some geekery – namely Persona 5 and Fire Emblem Three Houses, asking the question that nobody has the guts to address: “Were they separated at birth?”

D&D 22 – The Zelda Chicken Horde

D&D 22 – The Zelda Chicken Horde

The boys are back and delve deep in the dungeon as Crofton falls down the bottomless pit (of joy) that is Xbox Game Pass while Ryan explains why he pays 80 dollars per game (like a sucker!) instead. Ryan decides that he needs to take Crofton to school… the Fire Emblem school! Kayden balances not being able to see out of his eyes with playing soccer while Gwen takes a sledge hammer to some Zelda chickens. All of this and an update on Crofton’s stolen bike too! Come listen!

D&D 21 – Grand Theft Scooter

D&D 21 – Grand Theft Scooter

Crofton’s daughter Gwen learns a harsh life lesson when her scooter is stolen. Her father tries to console her but reacts poorly when his bike also gets ripped. Ryan attempts to console Crofton with tales of his favourite fictional character, Spider-Man, and his journey Far From Home. The boys compare notes on Stranger Things. Crofton’s descent into despair continues with Clara getting roseala and being sick all week. Ryan and Kayden hit the Mario Maker hard like a true father amd son. All that and Zelda too! Come listen!

D&D 20 – Kinder Imperium

D&D 20 – Kinder Imperium

Crofton and Ryan prepare for the end of the school year and the beginning of summer by reminiscing about the good times they have had, like that one time Ryan went to Crofton’s house for bagels (pronounced bay-gulls), For Father’s Day, Crofton went on an epic binge into the world(s) of Twilight Imperium while Ryan prepared for his upcoming Mario Maker weekend by having his son pre-design a level with stickers. That last bit is actually a thing that happened. Finally, the boys hunker down to talk about the topics that matter – including politics in kindergarten and the Toronto Zoo. Stay awhile and listen!

D&D 19 – Three Es for You and Me

D&D 19 – Three Es for You and Me

Now, it is well documented that Crofton and Ryan love the electronic entertainment so it is only fitting that an expo for said entertainment would prove excellent. The boys run through all the highlights and lowlights of the press conferences before changing some diapers with talk of first visits to the dentist. All of that and Snipperclips too!

D&D 18 – Piñata Pool Party

D&D 18 – Piñata Pool Party

Finally, the boys return to their regularly scheduled program to discuss the pros and cons of pools for kids (and when to fill them in) as well as the stranger danger that comes with kid birthday parties. Who are all these people and when do we get to hit the piñata? All of this and gaming and tv talk featuring Days Gone, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling.
