Crofton’s descent into despair continues with Clara getting roseala and being sick all week. Ryan and Kayden hit the Mario Maker hard like a true father amd son. All that and Zelda too! Come listen!

D&D 20 – Kinder Imperium

D&D 20 – Kinder Imperium

Crofton and Ryan prepare for the end of the school year and the beginning of summer by reminiscing about the good times they have had, like that one time Ryan went to Crofton’s house for bagels (pronounced bay-gulls), For Father’s Day, Crofton went on an epic binge into the world(s) of Twilight Imperium while Ryan prepared for his upcoming Mario Maker weekend by having his son pre-design a level with stickers. That last bit is actually a thing that happened. Finally, the boys hunker down to talk about the topics that matter – including politics in kindergarten and the Toronto Zoo. Stay awhile and listen!

D&D 19 – Three Es for You and Me

D&D 19 – Three Es for You and Me

Now, it is well documented that Crofton and Ryan love the electronic entertainment so it is only fitting that an expo for said entertainment would prove excellent. The boys run through all the highlights and lowlights of the press conferences before changing some diapers with talk of first visits to the dentist. All of that and Snipperclips too!

D&D 16 – No Endgame Spoilers

D&D 16 – No Endgame Spoilers

Crofton and Ryan return from a weekend filled with geeky goodness. Both saw Endgame, but fear not, there will be no spoilers here (but we’re planning something special). However, we do discuss the latest and greatest in Virtual Reality. Crofton recommends another great couples Netflix binge with GLOW. Over on the Diapers side, Ryan is dealing with a waking child, while Crofton discusses the balance of having a great babysitter.

D&D 15 – The Wrestling Academy

D&D 15 – The Wrestling Academy

Wrestlemania season has come and gone and Crofton reflects on the highs (new champs!) and lows (late bedtime!) as he plans to travel to Montreal for a big show next week. Ryan gets a speed tutorial on the wonders of pro wrestling before he provides one on the wonders of Yoshi. Crofton continues his tour of Zelda with Ocarina of Time. TV talk takes precedence as Ryan finishes the Umbrella Academy and Crofton digs into Hanna. All of this and sick kids too! Strap in and enjoy!

D&D 14 – The Division Epidemic

D&D 14 – The Division Epidemic

This week Ryan helps Crofton cope with his new status quo as his baby goes to daycare and his wife back to work. The boys also deep dive into some geeky goodness including hot takes on the Division 2, Divinity: Original Sin 2, Diablo 2 and Destiny 2. Two of those are lies but I really wanted to write a bunch of D2s. You will have to listen to find out! All of this and Crofton goes into great length to explain the glory that is the board game Pandemic Legacy that involved him *gasp* leaving his house for a boy’s night.

D&D 13 – Samuel L. Jackson: Man of Mystery

D&D 13 – Samuel L. Jackson: Man of Mystery

The boys are on vacation and collectively find out that time off work doesn’t mean more geek time when you have kids. Ryan has his finger on the pulse of the Internet with hot takes on both Anthem and Captain Marvel. Crofton is living in the (Link to the) past with Zelda on SNES Classic as he tries to explain to his confused daughter why only little girls get put in the crystals. Most importantly, Ryan’s wife Ashley doesn’t know who Samuel L. Jackson is! All of this and Ryan and Crofton discuss booking fellow geek parent friends for online gaming. Does playing with fellow parents make everyone more understanding? Or is it just too hard to coordinate?
